Hello!
I'm so glad you're here. My name is Vivian Pavón. The first thing you should know about me is that I'm incredibly proud of my nationality – I'm Honduran! I'm a communicator passionate about graphic design, photography, and data visualization.
I studied Communications and Advertising in my hometown, Tegucigalpa, and since then, I began to discover many of my passions, including design and writing. This space began in 2013, when I was overflowing with passion for soccer and other sports. Since I was little, I dreamed of being a sports journalist: I practiced in front of the mirror, wrote a lot, and hung in front of the television to watch every game that cable had to offer. At first, Vivi la Vive was entirely about sports, but that changed a few years later when I started working in the international cooperation sector.
I loved the shift in my career because it was the perfect blend of all my experiences: social media management, graphic design, event coordination, story writing... and all of that led me to pay special attention to data journalism. That's how I moved to Madrid to study for a master's degree in Investigative Journalism, Data, and Visualization.
After completing my master's degree, I returned to my country to put everything I'd learned into practice. I entered the humanitarian sector, and I can say it changed my life forever: it gave a deeper purpose to everything I could contribute through my work.
I'd be happy to hear from you! Email me at vivianpavonf@gmail.com.
